prompt-injection
A skill is injected straight into your agent’s context, so hostile natural language in
a SKILL.md is an attack payload. This rule detects instruction-override attempts and
related manipulation patterns.
What it checks
Section titled “What it checks”- Instruction-override attempts — “ignore previous instructions”, “disregard your
system prompt/rules” (
critical). - Concealment instructions — hide actions or content from the user (
critical). - Instructions to act without user confirmation (
high). - Jailbreak-style role instructions — pretend restrictions do not exist (
critical). - Unconditional execution demands (
medium). - Claims of precedence over system or user instructions (
high). - Embedded fake system-role markers — possible conversation spoofing (
medium). - Explicit exfiltration language (
critical).
Example finding

Section titled “Fixing findings”- Remove override/concealment language; a legitimate skill never needs to fight the system prompt or hide steps from the user.
- If a phrase is a false positive (e.g. documentation quoting an attack), move the example into a fenced code block clearly marked as an example, and review whether the skill really needs to embed it.
